Syntactic features of Runglish include the following:
-I wasn't never there. (I've never been there.)
-Mornings we usually spent at the beach. (We usually spent mornings at the beach.)
- Double negation is very widespread in Runglish:
-I wasn't never there. (I've never been there.)
- Word order may sometimes be affected in certain constructs. This is due to the fact that while English is a left branching language, Russia is a right branching language.
- Lack of copula verbs, especially in the present-tense form, which do not exist in Russian.
- Object of the verb are often topicalised (OSV)
